• November/December 2011 - Halian Regional Annual Kick Off Meetings 

Stronger together - We can move mountains !

Halian’s fiscal year ends in October so November and December is a period for us to share our group results, reflect on our local successes and launch new year goals and initiatives at our regional Kick Off meetings.

FY11 has been an amazing and transformational year for Halian. Our revenues have grown by 24% and we have won several multi-million £ service contracts, putting our forward booked business at an all time high. 

This has been combined with excellent levels of customer satisfaction, increased levels of company accreditation with our partners and increased investment in technical training. All this has only been possible through the exceptional commitment and great work of all our staff.

But in recognition of a few outstanding contributions and in keeping with our annual tradition of highlighting individual efforts for remarkable initiative, dedication or quality of work, The Halian Executive would like to say a special thanks to the following:

The Application Support Service at GSK manages a wide variety of business critical applications at the Ware manufacturing site. The team has worked exceptionally hard to establish this managed service over the last 12 months and are now reaping the rewards of their efforts... We will be growing the current team at Ware as well as expanding the service to other GSK sites in the coming months.

• Monday, August 22nd, 2011 - Belux

As we are a people business, taking Social Responsibility has always been part of our view of the world around us. The Oxfam Trailwalker is a great opportunity to continue this tradition. This event is organized every year across 13 countries. The principle is simple: 4 person teams will walk over 100 km in 30 hours in the beautiful landscape of Hautes-Fagnes, Belgium. To participate the team has committed to raise 1500 € for Oxfam-Solidarity projects who fight against poverty and inequality around the world. As a worthy cause, Halian is supporting this event and will make a company contribution to match individual staff contribution to sponsor the 101e Air Orc Team. Click here to view their webpage.
