A luxury retail fashion and e-commerce business located in Dubai with operations over the Middle East- including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and UAE.

Relationship

Our customer was focused on achieving a successful digital transformation with an emphasis on e-commerce and improving its supply chain functions. The organisation reached out to Halian to help them achieve their hiring plans. The Retail, Supply Chain, and Digital functions were critical in developing the transformation for both their internal systems and external customer service delivery.

Task

The challenge for our customer was internally centred around attracting, hiring and onboarding a high volume of top calibre international talent with very specific skillsets in retail, supply chain and digital e-commerce technologies.

Solution

Halian was able to offer a dedicated team managed by a Director with ten years of International Contract Recruiting. Two dedicated talent acquisition consultants supported the team in conducting an extensive global market mapping exercise and search. Our team delivered 12 new hires within the Projects and Change space, typically Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and Project Managers. The hires ranged from top-tier European Project Managers from e-commerce giants and experienced specialist Salesforce professionals to locally sourced candidates.

The delivery team adopted a headhunting approach, which included a thorough market mapping exercise for the most in demands and niche skillsets. We hired candidates from all over Europe and built a remote team based in India for the majority of the Development work.

Results

Halian successfully delivered a high calibre of service and talent to the organisation, and as a result, we were appointed over 25 permanent and external contractors on Halian’s payroll in this space, including the below skillsets, Project Managers, Scrum Masters Business Analysts, ReactJs Developers, NodeJs Developers, Oracle Techno Functional Consultants, Salesforce Developers, MuleSoft Developers and most recently a Service Delivery Manager.
