Job Summary:

The Experience Platform Agile Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital experience platform projects. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and fostering an Agile work environment to ensure the successful execution of initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of experience platforms (e.g., CMS, e-commerce, customer portals), Agile methodologies, and digital product development.


Key Responsibilities:
 
  1. Project Planning & Execution:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of experience platform projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
    • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring projects are well-documented and aligned with Agile principles.
  2. Agile Methodology Implementation:
    • Serve as the Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Promote Agile best practices, including iterative development, continuous feedback, and adaptive planning, to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
  3. Cross-Functional Team Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with product managers, designers, developers, QA, and other key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
    • Facilitate clear communication among team members, removing obstacles and addressing challenges to maintain project momentum.
  4. Backlog & Release Management:
    • Manage the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners, ensuring that user stories and tasks are prioritized, estimated, and refined effectively.
    • Oversee release planning, ensuring that platform updates and features are delivered efficiently and align with the strategic vision of the platform.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
    • Conduct stakeholder reviews and collect feedback to incorporate into project iterations.
  6. Risk & Issue Management:
    • Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact project timelines and quality, and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Proactively address roadblocks, conflicts, and resource constraints to keep projects on track.
  7. Performance Tracking & Reporting:
    • Monitor project progress using Agile metrics (e.g., burn-down charts, velocity) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Provide detailed project reports and documentation, including project status, budget tracking, and post-implementation reviews.
  8. Platform Experience & Optimization:
    • Have a strong understanding of digital experience platforms (e.g., CMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms) to guide the team in developing user-centric features.
    • Continuously explore opportunities for process improvements, platform optimization, and enhanced user experiences.


Required Skills & Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Agile Expertise: Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master in a digital product or platform environment.
  • Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of experience platforms (e.g., Content Management Systems like Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore; E-commerce platforms like Shopify, Magento; Customer portals, etc.).
  • Project Management Tools: Proficiency in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello) for task management, backlog prioritization, and reporting.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and interact with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project risks, address challenges, and implement effective solutions.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or SAFe Agilist.


Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience working with marketing technology (MarTech) stacks and integrating with customer experience platforms.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and digital design processes.
