We are looking for a motivated developer to strengthen our team.

ROV is an application developed by the TMB department of the Flemish government. It includes several features and integrations:

• Interfaces to transmit successful exam results to the Federal Public Service Mobility, allowing candidates to obtain a driving license and/or professional qualification.
• Integration with various platforms such as the Flemish Enforcement Platform and MijnBurgerProfiel, among others.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience with Java 8 and/or higher and Angular
• Proficient in: Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven, Git, IntelliJ, HTML & CSS, TypeScript
• Excellent command of Dutch
• Experience with AWS and Docker is a plus

Tasks

• Development and implementation of new features based on written analyses (use cases / domain model)
• Taking on the role of lead frontend developer, working closely with the technical lead and mentoring junior frontend developers
• Flexibility to support backend development when needed
• Writing and maintaining tests
• Testing existing and new functionalities
• Participation in internal meetings
• Documentation using JIRA / Confluence

Languages

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Hybrid: remote work + 1 day onsite in Mechelen and/or Brussels
