Data Engineer / ETL Developer (m/f/d)
A leading financial organization is seeking a Data Engineer (ETL Developer) to join its team and contribute to data integration and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL processes, including creating procedures and packages to meet data integration requirements.
- Optimize performance of ETL workflows to minimize impact on operational systems.
- Collaborate with architects and data teams to ensure alignment on data models and flows.
- Participate in master data management projects and provide feedback on data quality and governance.
- Conduct testing and validation of ETL processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Support migration from legacy systems to modern data platforms and integration solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an ETL Developer with strong knowledge of SQL scripting and querying.
- Expertise in data warehousing concepts and ETL tools, with experience in both batch and streaming data processing.
- Knowledge of Azure based ETL Solutions such as Azure Data Factory and/or Fabric
- Knowledge of Databricks
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based ETL solutions and data orchestration frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile or SCRUM environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
