A leading insurance provider with a strong presence in the European market is seeking an enthusiastic Accountant to join its reinsurance back-office team. The organization operates a specialized business unit dedicated to reinsurance accounting, offering a dynamic environment where professionals can grow and contribute to complex financial processes.
Responsibilities:
•     Manage monthly closing activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.
•     Process various accounting bookings and maintain precise records.
•     Prepare and send final accounts to external stakeholders.
•     Monitor and follow up on payments and receipts to ensure timely settlements.
•     Generate and review monthly reports using established reporting tools.
•     Support ongoing internal projects by handling recurring accounting tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
•     Strong accounting knowledge with a keen eye for detail.
•     Proficiency in Dutch (native level) and basic English communication skills.
•     Effective collaboration and communication abilities within a small team environment.
•     Flexibility and initiative to adapt to varied tasks and responsibilities.
•     Ability to learn quickly from senior professionals and apply knowledge effectively.
•     Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
