Senior Azure DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

Our client is an International Financial Institution looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer. The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer will perform tasks and functions, including but not limited to:

Cloud & Azure
- Strong knowledge of Azure services, Resource Groups, Subscriptions, Azure DevOps Services.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML), Service Connections, Managed Identities.
- Familiarity with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Terraform (including authoring & updating Terraform modules, not just using them).
- Good understanding of Azure networking (VNets, private endpoints, firewall/IP rules).
Automation & CI/CD
- Ability to build and maintain reusable and standardized pipelines across multiple projects and organizations.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and provisioning (Terraform, Azure CLI, Bicep).
- Hands-on scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
- Knowledge of Azure Functions and Container Apps Jobs for automation.
- Experience implementing branch control, approval workflows, and release policies in Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of RBAC, AD group-based access control, and Azure PIM.
- Ability to design and maintain drift detection and compliance checks for project and infrastructure configurations.

- Detail-oriented, especially regarding naming conventions, configuration consistency, and cost optimization.
- Strong communicator, able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
