About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevSecOps Developer on behalf of our client, a European Union Institution based in Luxembourg. This role supports the institution’s digital transformation efforts through high-quality IT solutions, reusable components, and secure development practices.
This is a remote position, with some punctual trips, if required by the client.
Key Responsibilities
Core Tasks
- Design and manage CI/CD pipeline templates using GitLab.
- Integrate automated security testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and IT staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan and execute scalable platform solutions.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges through automation.
- Innovate developer tools to enhance productivity.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree (EQF Level 7) in IT or related field.
- Minimum 5 years with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- 4+ years with Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3+ years with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- 3+ years using Terraform for IaC.
- Experience integrating automated security testing and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Go).
- Expertise in platform engineering on Linux systems.
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Certifications (Mandatory – one of the following):
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
- DevSecOps Practitioner
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Or equivalent certification approved by the Institution
