Solution/Application Architect – Belgium

About the Opportunity
Are you ready to shape the future of IT architecture within a fast-growing international insurance group? A dynamic and expanding company is seeking a Solution/Application Architect to join its team in Liège, with flexibility to work from Brussels as well.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of designing scalable and secure application solutions that drive business success. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence strategic decisions, and ensure seamless implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect robust and scalable IT solutions tailored to evolving business needs.
• Define and uphold architecture standards, including security, backup, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Partner with IT and business teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with strategic goals.
• Guide project execution to ensure alignment with architectural specifications.
• Lead the transition to new technologies with minimal disruption.
• Resolve complex architectural challenges with efficiency and innovation.

Your Profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with the insurance sector is a plus; development background is advantageous.
• Proficient in TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
• Strong grasp of enterprise architecture and IT security best practices.
• Skilled in requirements analysis and technical solution design.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with BPMN and modeling tools.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to assess emerging technologies and their practical applications.
• Fluent in French, with a good command of another national language and professional English.
