Job Summary
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our client’s cloud transformation team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with cloud migrations, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines, and will be instrumental in aligning cloud solutions with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our client’s cloud transformation team. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud environments, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with cloud migrations, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines, and will be instrumental in aligning cloud solutions with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or support cloud migration projects including data center exits and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures using GCP (GKE, GCE, Cloud Build, Cloud Deploy) and AWS.
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, presales, and business development to deliver tailored cloud solutions.
- Optimize cloud costs and improve operational efficiency through logging, monitoring, and automation.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation, blog posts, or open-source tools.
- Act as a Resident Architect for large-scale cloud transformation programs.
- Lead teams in the migration of 40+ applications and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Drive innovation by developing internal tools and contributing to open-source projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and architects.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering.
- GCP Professional certifications (Cloud Architect, Network Engineer, Security Engineer).
- Proven track record of leading cloud migration and optimization projects.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Java, Shell).
- Experience with hybrid architecture and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with open-source contributions or technical blogging.
- Exposure to presales or client-facing technical roles.
- Background in application development or SaaS migration tools.
