Job Title: GRC Specialist - Banking
Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile GRC Specialist for the banking sector who serves as a "jack of all trades" with comprehensive audit expertise. This role requires a multi-skilled professional capable of conducting various types of audits, managing incidents, and delivering analytical insights through advanced reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Leadership
- Conduct comprehensive audits across multiple banking domains and processes
- Lead specialized audits for Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems
- Perform detailed audit assessments and compliance evaluations
- Execute regulatory audits and internal control assessments
Analysis & Investigation
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for audit findings and incidents
- Investigate operational incidents and security breaches
- Analyze complex business processes and identify control gaps
- Provide actionable recommendations based on detailed analysis
Incident Management
- Lead incident response activities and investigations
- Coordinate with various teams during incident resolution
- Document incident findings and develop remediation plans
- Ensure proper incident escalation and stakeholder communication
Reporting & Analytics
- Create comprehensive dashboards using PowerBI for executive reporting
- Develop detailed audit reports and presentations in Excel
- Build automated reporting solutions for ongoing monitoring
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Support Business Continuity Planning initiatives and assessments
- Conduct BCP audits and disaster recovery testing
- Evaluate organizational resilience and continuity preparedness
- Assist in developing and updating continuity procedures
Required Qualifications
Core Expertise
- Banking Experience: Mandatory background in banking or financial services
- Audit Proficiency: Comprehensive audit experience across multiple domains
- IAM Knowledge: Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management systems
- Root Cause Analysis: Proven expertise in investigation and analytical techniques
Technical Skills
- PowerBI: Advanced proficiency in dashboard creation and data visualization
- Excel: Expert-level skills in data analysis, reporting, and modeling
- Dashboard Development: Experience creating executive and operational dashboards
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Professional Capabilities
- Versatility: "Jack of all trades" approach with multi-domain expertise
- Incident Management: Experience managing and investigating various incidents
- BCP: Knowledge of Business Continuity Planning and disaster recovery
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills
