Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Scala, and system integration or data science projects. The ideal candidate will have worked in domains such as fraud detection, financial crime, compliance, or customer insight, leveraging predictive models and detection logic to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields
· Strong proficiency in Java and Scala
· Experience in fraud, financial crime, compliance, or customer insight projects
· Solid understanding of data structures, ETL, and data quality resolution
· Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Apply statistical approaches and detection logic to support business-critical use cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Perform data mapping and resolve data quality issues across relational and object-oriented structures.
- Build and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Ab Initio and Informatica.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, handle JSON data formats.
- Support DevOps practices and contribute to operational stability.
- Conduct research and analysis to support data-driven decision-making.
