We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior SAP/Back-end Engineer to join a dynamic digital team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about building robust, scalable backend systems that power modern eCommerce platforms. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining APIs, integrating with SAP systems, and collaborating across teams to deliver seamless digital solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs: Build secure and scalable RESTful APIs that serve as the foundation of our eCommerce platform.
• Create and maintain OpenAPI specifications: Produce clear and standardised API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger before development begins.
• Implement robust testing: Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure backend stability and product quality.
• Ensure robustness and security: Apply best practices for performance optimisation, security, and automated testing to maintain a reliable backend infrastructure.
• Deploy and enhance eCommerce solutions: Deliver new capabilities and market-specific customisations while continuously improving existing products.
• Collaborate across teams: Work closely with front-end developers, UX designers, and product teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of digital solutions.

Key Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring framework.
• Proven experience with SAP integrations and designing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger for documenting API specifications.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to build robust, scalable APIs in enterprise environments.
• Experience integrating with complex systems, particularly within SAP ecosystems.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
