Our client is an international Bank based in Luxembourg and they are looking for the Financial Crime Compliance Unit of Compliance Department, a Junior Compliance Officer

Your responsibilities:
Perform daily control related to:
- Real Time Transaction monitoring;
- FFFVW client/relationship database Name Screening monitoring (FFF);
- Transaction monitoring (SIRON);
- Trade finance activity;
- Correctness of update made for sanctions lists/blacklists into dedicated systems used by Compliance department;
- Preparing SAR/STRs when required.

Assist the Head of FCC Unit on
- The exercise of his/her responsibility for the compliance duties within the Bank at Luxembourg;
- The compliance work to be performed for Luxembourg activities and potentially for the branches in case of need;
- Participating to projects conducted or coordinated by the Compliance department for Luxembourg activities and potentially for the branches in case of need;
- Performing ad-hoc compliance controls on AML, sanctions and others compliance topics;
- Complying with tasks and missions assigned to FCC unit by the Head of Compliance department Luxembourg (or Deputy Head) as well the European Chief Compliance Officer.

Participate in:
- Enhancing projects for tools and processes used by the Compliance department;
- Others missions or tasks allocated by Head of FCC Unit, Head/Deputy Head of Compliance department Luxembourg or European Chief Compliance Officer and Management

Your profile:
University degree in Economics, Finance or Law;
Fluent in English. Other languages are considered as an asset;
Minimum 1 year experience in compliance or audit function;
Good knowledge of AML/CTF/Sanctions monitoring;
Strong analytical skills and ability to work on projects;
Experience in Financial Crime topics and transaction monitoring is a plus (ability to analyze transactions/activity and detect red flags);
Team spirit;
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel PowerPoint);
General interest in news and the geopolitical context;
Customer and result orientation, self-driven and proactive;
Sense of discretion, confidentiality, integrity and transparency.
