Specialist - System Admin (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities
-
Strong experience in IT operations, Windows Administration, Windows Server patching, vulnerability remediation, OS hardening, and performance tuning
-
Support and monitor cloud infrastructure hosted in Azure, including Virtual Machines, Azure AD, Resource Groups, Storage, and basic networking
-
Troubleshoot and analyze logging information for reporting performance exceptions
-
Proactively monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning
-
Familiarity with Windows Cluster, File Server, DFS, and OS performance troubleshooting
-
Experience building, managing, and upgrading VMware virtualization environments
-
Resolve incident tickets and perform remote system administration of Windows servers, handling Level 1 & 2 support
-
Manage Active Directory infrastructure, including Group Policy, OU structure, replication, and authentication issue troubleshooting
-
Maintain and support Microsoft Exchange (on-prem and hybrid) environments
-
Perform user and group management across AD, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online
-
Administer and monitor Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, and Intune
-
Deploy, manage, and upgrade virtualization platforms including VMware vCenter, ESXi hosts, Hyper-V, and Nutanix
-
Support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting
-
Implement and support hybrid cloud models (Private, Public, and Hybrid), ensuring secure workload integration across environments

Configure VMs and web applications via Azure Web Portal and PowerShell CLI
-
Basic knowledge of networking concepts including LAN, WAN, firewalls, proxy servers, routers, etc.

Understanding of networking principles such as IP addressing, DHCP, DNS
-
Remote management of servers using ILO, DRAC, and RSA
-
Collaborate with other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
-
Work closely with application support and security teams to apply up-to-date patch levels and configure application-specific features
-
Perform advanced problem determination and root cause analysis
What We’re Looking For
(a) Required Skills / Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
-
Certified Administrator AZ-104 (preferred); hands-on experience with AZ-104 and AZ-900 for 3–4 years
-
10 years of experience as a Wintel and Cloud Administrator
-
MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect) or MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure)
-
Microsoft MCSA in Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016
-
Microsoft MCSA in Office 365 and SharePoint Online
-
Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
-
ITIL v4 (or v3) Foundation certification
(b) Preferred Skills / Qualifications
-
10 years of strong experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, and AWS
-
Hands-on knowledge of Exchange Server (2016/2019) and Exchange Online
-
Strong experience in hybrid on-premises to cloud, private and multi-cloud workload migration
-
Solid experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS, monitoring, backups, and security best practices
-
Previous experience in help desk support and troubleshooting roles
-
Experience supporting virtual servers and resolving network issues
-
Background in 24x7 managed services, hosted service companies, or Network Operations Center environments
-
System administration and support experience with Windows operating systems; mixed environments a plus
-
Experience with Kubernetes, networking subnetting, routing, and firewalls
-
Experience with Azure-based deployments or other cloud platforms
-
Proven experience installing, configuring, and managing Microsoft Cloud Services such as Azure, ADFS, Exchange Online, Intune, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
- Proven experience installing, configuring, and managing Windows Server 2012–2019 and Active Directory environments
