Technical Portfolio Manager - Health Tech (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Technical Portfolio Manager to lead and manage a portfolio of digital health and clinical technology initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in clinical healthcare, emerging technologies, and digital transformation, and who holds a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent).

- Lead the planning, execution, and governance of a portfolio of clinical and digital health technology projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, IT, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align portfolio goals with organizational strategy.
- Evaluate and prioritize initiatives based on clinical impact, technological feasibility, and ROI.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical standards.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting to executive leadership.
- Drive innovation by identifying emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to healthcare.
- Mentor and guide project managers and technical leads within the portfolio.
- Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in a relevant field such as Health Informatics, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Sciences, or Digital Health.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing complex technical portfolios in healthcare or life sciences.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare systems, and digital health technologies (e.g., EHRs, AI in healthcare, telemedicine).
- Demonstrated ability to bridge clinical and technical domains.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, project management tools, and portfolio management frameworks.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or PfMP.
- Experience with digital transformation in large healthcare organizations.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, or local equivalents.
