Control Software Engineer (m/f/d)

An international engineering company operating in the electrification and advanced mobility sector is looking for an experienced Control Software Engineer to support the development of embedded control solutions for next-generation electric drive systems. You will contribute to software design, control algorithm development, system validation, and integration activities within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:
· Design, develop and optimise control algorithms for embedded electronic systems.
· Contribute to model-based development activities using simulation and control design tools.
· Implement and maintain software functions in real-time embedded environments.
· Support software integration, debugging, verification and validation activities.
· Analyse system behaviour and collaborate with hardware and software teams to resolve technical issues.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports and engineering deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong experience in control systems engineering and embedded software development.
· Good knowledge of electric drive systems, power conversion technologies and control strategies.
· Solid experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C.
· Ability to understand electrical architectures and investigate complex technical issues.
· Experience with software testing, validation methodologies and structured development processes.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in international cross-functional teams.
