Overview
We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of strategic technology and data initiatives across multiple corporate functions. This role will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide programmes that span Data, Technology, Audit, Finance, and Marketing functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and transformation goals.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex technology programmes within large-scale, highly regulated environments, driving stakeholder engagement, governance, delivery excellence, and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology and data transformation programmes.
- Develop and maintain programme roadmaps, milestones, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of programme objectives while maintaining quality, governance, and compliance standards.
- Establish programme governance frameworks, steering committees, and reporting structures.
Data & Technology Transformation
- Drive strategic initiatives across enterprise data platforms, analytics, data governance, and reporting capabilities.
- Partner with technology leadership teams to deliver complex cross-functional transformation programmes.
- Support the implementation of modern data architectures, cloud technologies, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Align technology investments with business priorities and enterprise architecture standards.
Business Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary interface between senior business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Audit, Finance, Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Technology functions.
- Present programme updates, risks, achievements, and recommendations to executive leadership and steering committees.
- Manage expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the programme lifecycle.
Risk, Governance & Compliance
- Proactively identify programme risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure programmes operate within established governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Monitor compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and project management standards.
- Drive effective change control and decision-making processes.
Financial & Resource Management
- Manage programme budgets, forecasts, vendor engagement, and resource allocation.
- Ensure optimal utilisation of internal teams, consultants, and third-party partners.
- Track programme benefits, KPIs, and return on investment.
Change & Adoption
- Develop and execute change management and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Drive user adoption of new technologies, processes, and data capabilities.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across delivery teams.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of programme and project management experience within large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience delivering complex technology and data transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology landscapes, data management, analytics, and digital transformation.
- Experience managing programmes spanning multiple business functions including Finance, Audit, Marketing, Operations, and Technology.
- Demonstrated experience working within highly regulated industries, preferably financial services or banking.
- Strong knowledge of programme governance, budgeting, vendor management, and risk management.
- Experience managing senior executive stakeholders and steering committees.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.
- PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP, MSP, Agile, or equivalent programme management certification.
- Experience delivering enterprise data, cloud, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of data governance, AI, business intelligence, and enterprise reporting technologies.
