Senior Specialist - Power BI Developer / Reporting

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Specialist - Power BI Developer / Reporting to support enterprise cybersecurity, risk, and transformation programmes through the development of insightful, scalable, and governed reporting solutions.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and reporting frameworks that provide meaningful visibility into cybersecurity, risk, compliance, operational performance, and programme delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making through accurate, timely, and actionable reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Power BI, Data Modelling, SQL, Reporting Governance, Data Integration, and Dashboard Development, with experience supporting executive-level reporting and large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Translate cybersecurity, risk, governance, and delivery requirements into scalable reporting models and visualizations.
• Build and manage governed datasets, semantic models, measures, KPIs, and reusable reporting capabilities.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems, including security, GRC, service management, and operational platforms.
• Develop data quality controls, reconciliation processes, and reporting validation mechanisms.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and governance across all dashboards and reporting assets.
• Optimize dashboard performance, usability, and scalability.
• Support executive and management reporting requirements through meaningful performance metrics and insights.
• Maintain reporting documentation, data dictionaries, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, PMO functions, and risk teams to define reporting requirements.
• Support reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, or Power BI Development.

• Proven expertise in:

  • Power BI Development

  • Reporting Governance

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Power BI
  • DAX
  • Power Query
  • SQL
  • Excel

• Experience building executive dashboards and management reporting solutions.

• Strong understanding of data quality, reconciliation, and reporting controls.

• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise platforms and data sources.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting cybersecurity, risk, compliance, or governance reporting functions.
• Experience working with ServiceNow, GRC platforms, and enterprise operational systems.
• Exposure to enterprise data warehousing and analytics platforms.
• Experience within Banking, Financial Services, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of reporting governance frameworks and enterprise data management practices.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification or equivalent is desirable.
