We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated tests for API and web applications at a leading Abu Dhabi bank.

About the Role
We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to develop and execute automated tests for API and web applications at a leading Abu Dhabi bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test scripts for REST APIs
- Create and maintain test automation suites using Playwright
- Write tests in TypeScript following best practices
- Collaborate with development teams on test strategies
- Execute functional and regression testing
- Identify and document defects throughout the lifecycle
- Support CI/CD pipeline automation
- 5-6 years of QA automation experience
- Strong expertise with Playwright for web automation
- API testing experience (REST, JSON/XML)
- TypeScript or similar programming language proficiency
- Experience with PowerWeb or similar tools
- Git and CI/CD knowledge
- Agile/Scrum familiarity
- Banking industry experience
- Performance testing knowledge
- Selenium experience
