Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support the development of advanced control systems within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, integration, and validation of low-level software components in a real-time embedded environment.
Responsibilities:
· Analyse technical requirements and define software solutions for embedded systems.
· Design and develop low-level software components in C.
· Configure, integrate, and optimise software modules for real-time electronic control units (ECUs).
· Execute software testing, debugging, and validation activities in both bench and system environments.
· Produce and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems, Hardware, and Software Engineering.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong experience in embedded software development using C.
· Solid understanding of real-time systems and automotive software architectures.
· Experience with embedded communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, or similar technologies.
· Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes within a regulated engineering environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on debugging experience.
· Professional proficiency in English.
