A regional government-focused organization delivering mission-critical digital services is seeking a Senior Observability Operations Lead (Arabic-speaking) to drive observability excellence across high-impact public sector platforms. This role supports strategic leadership and ensures operational resilience in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Responsibilities

• Operational Strategy: Align observability practices with strategic goals to ensure uptime, reliability, and visibility of essential services.
• Governance & Standards: Define and enforce service-level objectives (SLOs), indicators (SLIs), and observability frameworks.
• Monitoring Optimization: Oversee alerting strategies and incident detection, reducing noise and improving resolution effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop frontline operations teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for executive-level updates and strategic recommendations.
• Incident Management: Lead root-cause analyses and integrate observability with incident and problem management processes.

• Experience: 10+ years in IT Operations or Site Reliability Engineering, with deep observability expertise.
• Tool Proficiency: Strong background in enterprise monitoring platforms and observability technologies.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage high-pressure projects and lead cross-functional teams.
• Communication: Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong executive-level presentation skills.
• Certifications: Relevant industry certifications in observability, ITIL, or cloud-native technologies preferred.
• Resilience: Comfortable operating under scrutiny with a focus on precision, discipline, and strategic impact.
