Senior System Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading international engineering organisation within the electrification sector is looking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to support the development of advanced electric propulsion systems. The role combines system engineering, customer interaction, technical leadership, and cross-functional coordination across the complete product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
· Lead the development and delivery of system features for complex electrified powertrain applications.
· Define and manage system requirements, ensuring performance, quality, reliability, and customer expectations are met.
· Act as the primary technical contact for assigned topics, coordinating activities between software, hardware, safety, calibration, and validation teams.
· Drive system integration activities and support the resolution of technical issues through structured analysis and problem-solving.
· Contribute to functional safety activities, risk assessments, and the development of safety-related engineering deliverables.
· Provide technical guidance, progress reporting, and risk management support throughout project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Extensive experience in systems engineering within automotive, power electronics, or electrified vehicle environments.
· Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, system architecture, integration, verification, and validation processes.
· Experience working on electric drive systems, power conversion technologies, or high-voltage applications.
· Solid understanding of functional safety principles and safety-oriented product development.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience resolving complex system-level issues.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams.
