A leading international organization is seeking an experienced software engineer to join their team and help shape and automate core IT processes. The role involves working across areas such as asset and configuration management, service agreements and release management, incident and problem management, continuity and operations management, and expanding into domains like vulnerability management and security testing.
Responsibilities
• Analyze, design, and test process automations to improve IT workflows.
• Design and validate integrations between cloud-based platforms and other applications (on-premise or cloud).
• Translate business requirements into technical designs that deliver measurable value.
• Address complex incidents and ensure smooth operational continuity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to life.
• Focus on analysis, design, and problem-solving rather than scripting or programming.
Qualifications and Skills
• Minimum 5 years of solid experience with enterprise IT platforms.
• Strong technical foundation combined with excellent analytical skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, with strong communication abilities.
• Curiosity about IT infrastructure and eagerness to expand knowledge.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on fit-for-purpose outcomes.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals to feel comfortable with technical concepts.
