Business Analyst - Business Processing Re-engineering 

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support business transformation and change initiatives within a leading financial services environment.

This role will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, coordinating project activities, and supporting the successful delivery of business and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, technology teams, and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly defined and effectively translated into business solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and experience working within banking or financial services environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project and change initiative activities to ensure successful delivery.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder sessions.
• Capture, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and supporting project documentation.
• Support project planning, progress tracking, and reporting activities.
• Manage smaller projects or individual workstreams within larger transformation programmes.
• Identify risks, issues, delays, and dependencies, escalating where necessary.
• Work closely with business, operations, credit, technology, and project teams to support delivery objectives.
• Support testing activities by preparing test cases, coordinating UAT, and validating business outcomes.
• Participate in end-user training and change management activities.
• Track project milestones and maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Ensure solutions align with business requirements and organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or related role within banking or financial services.
• Strong experience in:

  • Business Process Analysis
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Stakeholder Management
  • UAT Coordination
• Experience supporting business and technology projects in regulated environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Quality Management, Finance, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience within banking and financial services environments.
• Exposure to process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation programmes.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools.
