Halian is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our client’s international team.

Tasks :

• Act as a key compliance partner for various companies, with the possibility of assuming permanent compliance roles
• Take on responsibilities as Responsable du Contrôle (RC)
• Monitor regulatory changes, draft alerts, and contribute to implementation projects
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on compliance related initiatives
• Prepare and deliver regulatory reports, including RC reporting
• Carry out risk assessments and contribute to clients’ internal control processes
• Assist with compliance monitoring plans and due diligence reviews
• Ensure AML/CFT checks and screenings are properly executed
• Provide hands-on support to clients on daily compliance matters and regulatory obligations
• Design, update, and enhance compliance frameworks, policies, and operational procedures
• Develop and maintain practical compliance tools and templates

Profile :

• University degree in Business Law, Finance or related
• 2–4 years of proven compliance experience within the financial sector
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a structured approach to work
• Team player with flexibility and adaptability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of name-screening tools is advantageous
• Solid understanding of Luxembourg’s fund industry and regulatory landscape
• Ability to convert complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions
• Fluent in English and French; additional European languages are a plus
