IT Team Lead – Mainframe Applications 

We are seeking a seasoned IT Team Lead to guide a technical delivery team working on mainframe COBOL applications and migration initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality execution, structured governance, and seamless collaboration across stakeholders.

? Your Mission

Lead and coordinate a development team responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions—from business requirements and technical analysis to build, testing, and integration—within a mainframe environment.

? Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership to a team of developers working on COBOL-based systems.
• Prioritize tasks and manage backlog to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and escalate issues through structured governance.
• Facilitate collaboration between internal IT, business stakeholders, and external partners.
• Drive testing and validation processes, ensuring alignment with functional and technical expectations.
• Promote documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams for long-term sustainability.

• Proven experience in leading development teams in onshore/offshore contexts.
• Strong background in system integration and data migration projects.
• Familiarity with financial or regulatory environments (insurance knowledge is a plus).
• Expertise in structured project governance and backlog management.
