Our client is an international Bank based in Luxembourg and they are looking for the Financial Crime Compliance Unit of Compliance Department, a Junior Compliance Officer

Your responsibilities:

• Perform daily control related to:
• Pre trade transaction monitoring (GWPS (STORM));
• Post trade transaction/activity monitoring (SIRON);
• Trade finance activity;
• FFFVW client/relationship database name screening monitoring;
• Correctness of update made for sanctions lists/blacklists into dedicated systems used by Compliance department.

Assist the Head of Compliance Luxembourg Department for

• The exercise of his/her responsibility for the compliance duties of the Bank in Luxembourg;
• The compliance work to be performed for Luxembourg activities and potentially for the branches of the bank. in case of need;
• Participating to projects conducted or coordinated by the Compliance Department for Luxembourg activities and potentially for the branches of the bank . in case of need;
• Performing routine compliance controls on AML, sanctions and others compliance topics;
• Complying with tasks and missions assigned to FCC unit by the Head of Compliance department Luxembourg (or back-up person) as well the European Chief Compliance Officer

Your profile:

• University degree in Economics, Finance or Law;
• Fluent in English. Other languages are considered as an asset;
• Minimum 1 year experience in compliance or audit function;
• Good knowledge of AML/CTF/Sanctions monitoring;
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work on projects;
• Experience in Financial Crime topics and transaction monitoring is a plus (ability to analyze transactions/activity and detect red flags);
• Team spirit;
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel PowerPoint);
• Customer and result orientation, self-driven and proactive;
• Sense of discretion, confidentiality, integrity and transparency.
