Motor Control Engineer (m/f/d)

An international engineering company specialising in advanced electrified mobility solutions is seeking a Motor Control Engineer to support the development of next-generation electric drive systems. The role focuses on control algorithm development, embedded software integration, model-based design, and validation activities within a highly technical engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and optimise control strategies for electric propulsion and embedded control systems.
· Design, implement, and validate control algorithms using model-based development methodologies.
· Support software integration and contribute to the development of real-time embedded applications.
· Analyse system performance, investigate technical issues, and support debugging activities across software and hardware interfaces.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to improve product functionality, reliability, and efficiency.
· Participate in testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong experience in control systems engineering and embedded software development.
· Good understanding of electric drive technologies, power electronics, and motor control principles.
· Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C development.
· Ability to analyse technical issues and support troubleshooting in complex embedded environments.
· Familiarity with verification, validation, and model-based design approaches.
· Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills within cross-functional teams.
