We are seeking a Senior Observability Engineer to lead a development team based in India and define the observability strategy for our platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership experience to ensure seamless implementation of monitoring tools across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a development team, promoting best practices in observability.
• Define and execute the observability strategy, optimizing monitoring tools.
• Work with OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, and Grafana (proficiency in at least two is required).
• Develop automation processes for observability in AWS (mandatory) and Azure (optional).
• Ensure efficient cloud-based monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Enhance system performance and reliability using advanced observability techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish effective monitoring solutions.

Essential Qualifications:

• Expertise in observability tools: OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, Grafana.
• Proven experience in technical implementation and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures, especially AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
• Ability to work both on-premises and remotely, with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in improving system reliability through observability practices.
