Job Title: Retail Omni & Store Techno Functional Lead
Job Purpose:
Lead Omnichannel and store modules for a major Retail ERP transformation program, focusing on XStore POS and Omnichannel retail environment. Implement XStore with SAP S/4Hana, ensuring smooth operations in a luxury retail setting.
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategically support ERP transformation aligned with business stakeholders and SI Partner.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of modules within budget, emphasizing vanilla system and process delivery.
- Oversee business engagement, requirements, and solution design for Omnichannel-enabled XStore POS.
- Implement and configure POS hardware, infrastructure, and ensure PCI compliance specifications.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Engagement & Requirement:
- Define and model business processes in collaboration with key business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Hands-on experience and business process expertise in Omnichannel-enabled POS, Store fulfillment, Last Mile, and online marketplace channels.
- Deep understanding of the Customer order life cycle for both online and in-store operations.
- Expertise in different types of Payments and Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) integration with Banks for Retail POS.
- Knowledge of designing, customizing, and configuring POS systems and integrated modules.
Solution Design and Configuration:
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications for Retail ERP solutions.
- Provide solutions to address identified gaps and improve overall process efficiency.
- Implementation experience of POS hardware, infrastructure, and PCI compliance specifications for a tightly integrated POS system.
Data Integrity:
- Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the Retail POS and Omni system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for effective reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain data models to support performance management processes.
ERP Implementation & Testing:
- Hands-on experience in the full cycle of Implementation, upgrade, and support projects.
- Knowledge of Retail POS and Omnichannel Workflow and process.
- Launch/Support experience of Omni modules on a fully functional E-commerce website.
- Experience in POS rollout in GCC countries, understanding localization, Fiscalization, and Tax rules.
- Act as a liaison during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defining test cases, validating functionality, and providing ad-hoc training and user support.
Change Management:
- Involved in full-cycle, large-scale end-to-end Digital transformational projects, acting as a Change Management Champion for Business units.
- Responsible for change management within the organization as applicable.
Performance Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
- Experience in POS performance testing for a cloud environment.
- Monitor post-implementation performance of Core ERP system processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancements.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to drive improvements in core ERP processes, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters or Engineering in Computer Science or a relevant field. Retail Functional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 Implementation experiences in Retail ERP and POS systems, including Store Rollout.
- Implementation experience in Retail Omnichannel, including E-commerce, is an added advantage.
- Experience in integrating 3rd party applications with POS, including EFT and payment gateway.
- Strong knowledge of Retail industry processes across multiple business functions.
- Well-versed with Project Management principles (Waterfall, Agile, Spiral, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams and convey information to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Proven knowledge of technical, commercial, and organizational issues impacting Program strategy and planning.
- Strong technical background and ability to understand complex software functionality, design, and technical issues, driving the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in the areas of teamwork, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence. Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
