Business Analyst – Life Insurance

Location: Brussels - Belgium

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join a multidisciplinary team focused on life insurance transformation initiatives. You’ll play a key role in supporting either a portfolio migration program or commercial development projects within the individual and group life insurance space.

This team brings together actuaries, business analysts, and testers to deliver high-impact change across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

Analysis

• Compare and analyze product and process differences between legacy and target systems for life insurance policy migration.
• Define and document business requirements in line with quality standards.
• Identify operational impacts and process changes resulting from the migration.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Testing

• Design and execute test cases for processes and calculations related to life insurance products.

Monitoring

• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.
• Provide regular updates on progress and key milestones.

You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including IT, operations, business units, and distribution teams, while building strong relationships with internal and external partners.

Your Profile

• Proven expertise in individual life insurance products and processes.
• In-depth knowledge of “Classique” life insurance products.
• Experience with life insurance policy migrations.
• Solid track record as a Business Analyst in similar environments.
• Strong commitment to quality, deadlines, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• University degree in mathematics or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the life insurance sector.
• Familiarity with standard business/process analysis methodologies.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
• Highly organized, pragmatic, and adaptable.
• Able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences (actuaries, IT, management).
• Client-focused and results-driven.
