We’re looking for one of our clients a conducting officer specialized in risk and asset management.

This is an exceptional opportunity to build upon an existing framework, lead a dedicated team, and directly influence the company's success through effective risk mitigation.

You will be a key member of the Risk and Conducting Officers Committee, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

Tasks:

• Assume full responsibility as a Conducting Officer for the Risk Management function.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's risk management framework, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee and conduct risk assessments across various business lines and asset classes (e.g., real estate, private equity, debt, AIFs).
• Report directly to the Board of Directors/Management Committee on all risk-related matters.
• Serve as a key member of relevant internal committees (e.g., Risk Committee, Management Committee).
• Ensure compliance with relevant Luxembourg and European regulations (e.g., CSSF circulars, AIFMD, UCITS directives).
• Lead and manage the risk management team.
• Act as a primary point of contact with the Luxembourg regulator (CSSF) on risk-related topics.
• Oversee the development and delivery of risk reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive a strong risk culture throughout the organization.

Profile:

• CSSF certification
• Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in a senior risk management role within the Luxembourg financial services sector.
• Prior experience holding a Conducting Officer or similar authorized role is highly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory requirements for the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of risk management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with senior management, the Board, and the regulator.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant academic degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or German is often an advantage.
