Digital Product Owner - Retail Banking (m/f/d)

Job Purpose
Drive product strategy and execution for retail banking products including accounts, deposits, payments, cards, and loans, aligning customer needs with business objectives in a digital-first environment.
Key Accountabilities
• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Lead technical design and execution of retail banking product vision, translating into sophisticated roadmaps covering accounts, deposits, payments, cards, and loans
• Agile Product Management: Manage prioritized backlog of user stories and epics, coach product owners on lifecycle management, and drive continuous improvement in scaled agile environments
• Customer & Market Focus: Analyze competitor landscape and customer research specific to retail banking products, prioritizing digital delivery based on market insights
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as main liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring optimal delivery of retail banking solutions
• Performance Management: Lead team of 2-3 direct reports within 12-15 person squad, managing budget of $1.5-2M Capex and $300-500K Opex
Required Experience
• 5+ years in fintech, neobanks, digital banks, or traditional banking with significant digital team experience
• Deep understanding of retail banking domains: accounts, deposits, payments, cards, loans
• Proven track record in agile methodologies and product management
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements
