Lead Azure Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Leverage Azure cloud technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Databricks, to manage, manipulate, and analyze data effectively.
- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and other Azure cloud services.
- Clean, transform, and model large datasets using Databricks, Spark, Python, and other data engineering tools.
- Develop and document data architecture, data modeling, and data governance strategies.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including IT teams, business users, and project managers, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and regulations, including Shafafiya.
- Develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI or Databricks to visualize trends, KPIs, and other business metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and Functions.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Databricks, data pipelines, Spark, Python, data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Postgres databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, or similar.
- Experience with healthcare data standards and claim management processes.
- Knowledge of dashboarding and visualization tools such as Power BI.
