Project Manager – AI (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic AI use cases, including Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) detection, claims analytics, dynamic pricing, virtual assistant for the call center, and intelligent document and reporting query automation. This role will ensure successful execution of project plans, resource alignment, stakeholder coordination, and adherence to timelines and budgets. The role reports directly to the Head of IT and will work closely with business, data, and vendor teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of AI initiatives, from planning to execution and transition to operations.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, data science, analytics, operations, and business units.
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners, ensuring delivery quality and contractual compliance.
• Track progress and performance metrics against defined KPIs and ensure clear reporting to executive leadership.
• Ensure alignment of each AI use case with business priorities and compliance with internal governance and regulatory requirements.
• Drive agile delivery practices while maintaining structured governance and controls.
• Ensure effective change management and user adoption post-implementation.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years leading data, AI, or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience in managing complex initiatives in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in managing multi-vendor environments and contract negotiations.
