Sr. Mechanical Technician (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Generate detailed CAD drafts and technical drawings based on design specifications.
- Provide practical support to workshop activities, including proficient tool handling and assembly of mechanical components.
- Utilize basic CAD design skills to contribute to the development and refinement of mechanical systems.
- Effectively communicate technical needs and requirements to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Proactively follow up on lead times for materials and components, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Advise the Mechanical Design Office on the technical feasibility and manufacturability of designs.
- Assist in the creation of documentation and specifications for manufacturing processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician.
- Demonstrable background and experience working with submarine systems or related marine technologies.
- Proficiency in CAD drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Hands-on workshop experience with a strong understanding of mechanical assembly and tool usage.
- Basic CAD design skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey technical information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a design engineering role, contributing to the development of innovative platforms and system design.
- Manufacturing skills and a practical understanding of various manufacturing processes.
