Position Overview
Our client is seeking an IT Operations Analyst to join its Core IT Operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of IT systems by supporting job execution, environment maintenance, and incident resolution. This position is central to daily business continuity and system availability.
Main Responsibilities
• Oversee the smooth execution of batch processes and interface operations
• Supervise end-of-day processing and ensure proper closure of business operations
• Manage and support both production and test environments
• Coordinate and perform deployments of software components
• Track, monitor, and resolve issues related to scheduled tasks
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual workload
• Handle incidents and service requests in accordance with internal procedures and timelines
• Provide initial investigation and resolution of technical issues
• Escalate unresolved problems promptly and appropriately
• Maintain detailed logs and documentation of all interventions
• Complete daily operational checklists and routine verifications
• Deliver regular performance and operations reports (KPIs) to management
Required Experience and Skills
• Proficiency in Linux environments and shell scripting
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Transact (T24) and Automic (UC4)
• Knowledge of JBoss and Oracle technologies is a plus
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities
• Competence in drafting technical documentation and support guides
• Effective communication in English, both spoken and written
• Flexibility to work in shifts, during weekends or extended hours when needed
