Business Analyst – Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to act as a key link between business needs and technology delivery. This role focuses on gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements to support the successful execution of business and IT initiatives.

Working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams, you will help shape solutions, improve processes, and ensure outcomes align with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather and validate business needs
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories, use cases, and functional/non-functional specifications
  • Support prioritisation by documenting business value, dependencies, and key pain points
  • Assist in mapping current-state processes and identifying areas for optimisation
  • Maintain traceability between business requirements and delivered solutions
  • Create and maintain clear, structured documentation across the delivery lifecycle
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis standards and practices

Skills & Experience

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Business Analysis certification (desirable)
  • Proven experience in business analysis or requirements gathering roles
  • Experience working in complex IT or transformation environments
  • Strong understanding of functional and non-functional requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to simplify and present complex information clearly
  • Experience with process mapping and modelling techniques
  • High attention to detail and structured documentation approach
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills (mandatory), including the ability to create clear, professional, and executive-level presentations
