Control Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

A leading international technology company is seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced embedded control solutions for next-generation electronic systems. The role involves software development, functional safety activities, validation and cross-functional collaboration within a structured engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain embedded control software for real-time electronic systems.
· Define, review and validate system and software requirements according to functional safety objectives.
· Support risk assessment activities and contribute to system reliability and safety analyses.
· Perform software verification and validation on laboratory benches and integrated systems.
· Configure and integrate software components within a model-based development framework.
· Produce and maintain technical documentation, test plans, design specifications and validation reports.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Strong experience in embedded software development within an automotive or industrial environment.
· Good knowledge of functional safety standards and system safety principles.
· Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink and Embedded C development.
· Familiarity with model-based development methodologies and structured engineering processes.
· Ability to analyse electrical architectures, troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.
· Excellent communication skills and experience working within international multidisciplinary teams.
