Role Overview

The Director of Enterprise Applications & Digital Platforms is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and delivery of integrated digital solutions across the organization. This role focuses on enabling business transformation through technology, optimizing processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving innovation through data, analytics, and AI-driven capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Digital Transformation

  • Define and lead the enterprise applications and digital platforms strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI, automation, and advanced technologies to enhance user experience, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to modernize and optimize business processes through technology-enabled solutions.

2. Enterprise Solutions & Systems Integration

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of integrated, cross-functional enterprise solutions.
  • Oversee system architecture ensuring scalability, flexibility, and seamless integration across platforms.
  • Ensure effective alignment between business requirements, technology solutions, and data architecture.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery

  • Partner with senior leadership and business units to understand strategic priorities and translate them into technology-enabled solutions.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment across functions and drive decision-making to support delivery outcomes.

4. Data, Analytics & AI

  • Lead enterprise data and analytics initiatives, from use-case identification through to solution delivery.
  • Translate business and operational challenges into data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of analytics solutions, including:
    • Descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics
    • Executive dashboards and performance insights
    • Data models supporting reporting and decision-making

5. AI & Intelligent Automation

  • Lead the design and deployment of AI-powered capabilities, including:
    • Generative AI and intelligent automation use cases
    • Embedded AI within enterprise systems
    • Digital assistants and copilots
    • Decision-support tools and workflow automation
  • Drive adoption of AI to enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation across the organization.

6. Process Optimization & Governance

  • Establish best practices for business process improvement and technology optimization.
  • Monitor performance of digital solutions and continuously enhance them to meet evolving business needs.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis, total cost of ownership (TCO), and make-vs-buy evaluations for key technology decisions.

7. Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams across enterprise applications, data, and digital platforms.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure effective resource planning, budgeting, and delivery governance across all initiatives.

8. Market Awareness & Innovation

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive developments.
  • Continuously assess opportunities to enhance capabilities and maintain a forward-looking technology landscape.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications, digital transformation, or IT leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale, integrated technology and business solution programs.
  • Strong understanding of business process design, system integration, and data management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.

Technical Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, visualization, and insight generation.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud) for end-to-end analytics delivery.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Knowledge of modern AI ecosystems and technologies, including large language models and enterprise AI platforms.
