A leading organization operating in a complex and technology-driven environment is seeking a Senior Technical IT Expert to provide advanced infrastructure support, ensure operational continuity, and act as a trusted technical advisor across ICT operations. The role combines hands-on technical expertise, vendor coordination, incident management, and mentoring responsibilities to support a stable and secure IT landscape.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT infrastructure, including configuration, maintenance, and patch management activities.
- Coordinate with external technical vendors and service providers to ensure effective delivery and support.
- Investigate and resolve complex, critical, or recurring technical incidents.
- Coach and support first-line ICT support teams, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain backup, recovery, business continuity processes, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical advice, risk assessments, and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and technical support within complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of system configuration, patch management, backup, and recovery processes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents and recurring issues.
- Experience working with external vendors and coordinating technical service delivery.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to support and mentor support teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Fluency in English and Dutch mandatory.
