We are looking for a Project Manager to join our client, a bank in the top 3 in Athens, Greece.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the project scope in collaboration with the Project Owner and Senior Management. Establish the objectives and metrics that will be used to evaluate the project's success upon completion.
- Develop a detailed project plan in which all activities required for successful project delivery are identified and prioritized (including monitoring and adjusting the plan as needed, and documenting required resources such as time, budget, equipment, etc.).
- Manage the project team and stakeholders in accordance with the organization's policies and practices.
- Monitor and control project budget expenditure and make adjustments when necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Prepare reports and communicate project status updates to Senior Management and the relevant business units.
- Identify risks and issues, propose and ensure implementation of mitigation actions, and provide timely updates to Senior Management and business units. Validate that project outcomes meet the objectives defined during the planning phase.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering projects in a Project Management role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), as well as advanced negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and data analysis capabilities, with a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong business acumen, with a keen interest in innovation and an out-of-the-box approach.
- Results-oriented mindset and proactive attitude in executing initiatives and tasks. Ability to set priorities and successfully manage ambiguous situations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent command of Greek and English.
- A Project Management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent certification is mandatory.
