Senior Juniper Network Architect
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Juniper Network Architect / SME with deep expertise in routing and switching across Juniper platforms to lead Data Center/LAN/ WAN migration, design validation, and cutover execution across data centers.
The role requires a mix of architecture, hands-on configuration, and migration leadership, ensuring seamless DC, WAN transformation with zero business impact.
Key Responsibilities

Expert level hands on with OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, EVPN-BGP, Switching on Juniper and Cisco platform

Lead end-to-end DC, WAN migration strategy, design, and execution
-
Define migration approach (staggered / parallel / big-bang)
-
Validate DC, WAN design including topology, redundancy, routing policies, and failover mechanisms
-
Expert level migration experience to migrate CRB to ERB DC Architecture.

Plan and execute link activation, routing changes, and traffic cutovers
-
preparing JSON/YAML scripts for Juniper migration, which requires strong experience in the same as well as in Apstra.

Coordinate with:

ISPs (E&, Du, SITA, ARINC, etc.)

Internal network & infrastructure teams
-
Client, Juniper, DC providers
-
Review and finalize:
-
Router configurations, IP schema, VLANs
-
Cabling and port mappings
-
Connectivity and routing design
-
Conduct pre-migration readiness checks, testing, and failover simulations
-
Provide L3 troubleshooting during and post cutover
-
Drive risk assessment, mitigation, and rollback planning
-
Support CAB approvals, governance, and change management
-
Maintain WAN inventory, link matrix, and documentation
-
Provide hands-on support during migration windows (after-hours if required)

Prepare runbook for activations / migrations
Technical Skills Required
DC Networking & WAN
Vendor Expertise

Juniper: QFX, EX, SRX, MX series, including strong experience in preparing JSON/YAML, Python, Ansible, Jinga scripts for Juniper migration and Apstra.

Strong hands-on in configuration, migration, and troubleshooting across both platforms
Additional Skills

Understanding of optical links / DWDM (ADVA)

Knowledge of firewalls, load balancers, and network security

Familiarity with DC infrastructure and cabling standards

Experience with network testing and monitoring tools

Experience in multi-vendor environments

Strong exposure to telecom providers and circuit activation

Familiarity with ITIL processes (Change, Incident, Problem Management)
