Job Title: SME – IBM API Connect 📍Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SME – IBM API Connect with 4–5 years of hands‑on experience to support and optimize enterprise‑scale API platforms. The role focuses on API lifecycle management, security enforcement, gateway development, and platform operations using IBM API Connect v10 and IBM DataPower Gateway in a secure, high‑availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, deploy, and administer APIs using IBM API Connect v10 (Manager, Gateway, Developer Portal, Analytics).
Configure and manage IBM DataPower Gateway, including services, domains, certificates, keystores, and truststores.
Implement API security controls: OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/SSL, mutual TLS, encryption, and LDAP integration.
Develop GatewayScript and custom policies for request/response transformation and secure message flows.
Perform troubleshooting, backup & recovery, upgrades, and patching across API platforms.
Work closely with DevOps and Cloud teams on CI/CD, automation, and configuration management.
Required Skills & Experience
4–5 years of hands‑on IBM API Connect v10 experience.
Strong working knowledge of IBM DataPower Gateway.
Solid background in API security and governance.
Experience supporting enterprise or regulated environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
