The company places a strong emphasis on information security, risk management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the protection of its business operations, technology platforms, and information assets. The organisation is seeking experienced Cyber Security Analysts to join its growing security team and contribute to the design, assessment, and continuous improvement of enterprise security controls.
Responsibilities
- Conduct security risk assessments and translate security policies and standards into actionable security requirements for business and technology initiatives.
- Provide guidance on the design, implementation, and validation of security controls across applications, infrastructure, and business processes.
- Review and assess solution architectures to ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.
- Define and support security testing activities, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and review resulting findings and remediation plans.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance security services, standards, procedures, and best practices across the organisation.
- Act as a trusted security advisor for stakeholders, providing expertise and recommendations on information security risks and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional experience in cyber security, information security, infrastructure security, or application security environments.
- Strong understanding of security risk management, security governance, secure design principles, and control frameworks.
- Knowledge of key security domains such as identity and access management, network security, data protection, secure development practices, and cloud security.
- Ability to translate business requirements into secure and practical technical solutions while working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; industry security certifications are considered an advantage.
