A major European public-sector organization focused on delivering secure, large‑scale digital services. The institution is seeking a Deployment Engineer to support the rollout of a critical internal application and strengthen its delivery operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end‑to‑end deployment of an institutional application within the organization’s datacenter.

• Import source code from external providers and validate correct integration into internal pipelines.

• Build microservice‑based applications and ensure successful execution of automated pipelines.

• Review code quality, security scan results, and container images prior to deployment.

• Generate and import deployment packages, ensuring accurate configuration and component readiness.

• Execute deployments across target environments and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment processes.

Qualifications and Skills

• University degree (master or equivalent) in Computer Science, Security, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years working with container orchestration platforms.

• Strong background in infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Hands‑on experience with code repositories, build tools, automation frameworks, and security scanning solutions.

• Solid troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with service mesh, messaging systems, and Linux environments.

• Excellent command of English and ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural setting.

Preliminary Requirements

Candidate must be a citizen of an EU member state and able to provide a valid criminal record. Recent experience with container orchestration platforms is required.
