Are you passionate about transforming business needs into smart, actionable solutions? We’re looking for a Functional Analyst to reinforce our Front-End team and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business vision and technical delivery.

Working hand in hand with solution designers and product owners, you’ll translate high-level business goals into clear, developer-ready user stories and precise functional specifications. Your Role:
As a Functional Analyst, you will be the key link between stakeholders and developers. Working hand in hand with solution designers and product owners, you’ll translate high-level business goals into clear, developer-ready user stories and precise functional specifications. You’ll help shape the digital experience by ensuring smooth API integration between front-end and back-end systems.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with business teams, project leads and lead analysts to gather and document functional requirements.
- Break down complex problems into structured, well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria and process flows.
- Maintain a detailed product backlog and support development sprints with all necessary documentation.
- Define API endpoints and contracts using OpenAPI (Swagger) to support seamless frontend/backend communication.
- Be the go-to person for developers during sprints, clarifying needs and resolving functional questions.
- Ensure non-functional needs (performance, security, accessibility) are addressed in your specs.
- Work with QA to build test scenarios and verify that features meet business expectations.
- Promote best practices in Agile documentation and functional analysis.
- Stay aligned with regulatory requirements in the banking/insurance domain.
- Keep system documentation up to date and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
What we’re looking for:
Must-haves:
- 3+ years as a Functional Analyst or Technical Business Analyst in a tech environment.
- Proven experience writing detailed, actionable user stories and functional specifications.
- Hands-on knowledge of API design and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Strong technical background: understanding of web architectures, data models, and front-end/back-end principles.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience in Agile/Scrum setups.
Nice-to-haves:
- Knowledge of WCAG and accessibility best practices.
- Familiarity with React, SPAs, Node.js, BFFs, and Azure Cloud concepts.
- Experience in banking, financial services or FinTech.
- Exposure to design systems and modern front-end principles.
- Tools: Jira, Confluence.
- You’re proactive, pragmatic, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
