Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain integrations between internal platforms and external systems using scalable and reliable patterns
- Develop and implement reusable integration components to streamline onboarding of new partners and services
- Ensure all integrations align with defined architectural standards, principles, and best practices
- Develop and maintain APIs and event-based services to support high-performance and resilient connectivity
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams and architects to translate designs into robust, production-ready solutions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on integrations and API development
- Solid knowledge of API design and event-driven or messaging-based architectures
- Experience working with cloud environments and modern development and automation practices
- Good understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures
- Knowledge of security principles related to system integrations and data exchange
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges
