We are looking for a senior Business Analyst in Finance Transformation & ERP to join our client, a big financial institution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, assessment, and redesign of Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) processes, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable and Payment processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Define and document Target Operating Models (TOMs), business processes, functional requirements, and process improvements within complex organizational environments.
- Support ERP transformation initiatives by conducting fit/gap analyses, evaluating solution capabilities, and ensuring business requirements are aligned with standard ERP functionalities.
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, IT teams, vendors, and external partners to gather, validate, and prioritize requirements.
- Contribute to ERP selection and system integrator procurement activities through the preparation of use cases, business scenarios, evaluation criteria, and structured assessment documentation.
- Produce high-quality deliverables including process maps, business requirements, gap analyses, decision papers, and recommendations with full traceability and auditability.
- Support programme governance and decision-making by providing clear analysis, identifying risks and trade-offs, challenging legacy-driven processes, and promoting standardization and simplification.
Requirements
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Finance Transformation, ERP-enabled transformation programmes, or large-scale business process improvement initiatives.
- Strong expertise in Procurement-to-Pay processes, including Accounts Payable, invoicing, payment execution, reconciliation, and related finance operations.
- Proven experience in ERP implementation programmes involving leading enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, including process design, requirements definition, and solution assessment activities.
- Extensive experience defining Target Operating Models, business processes, and functional requirements in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong knowledge of ERP market standards and best practices, with the ability to distinguish between requirements driven by genuine business needs and those resulting from legacy constraints.
- Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, with proven ability to produce structured, decision-ready outputs and operate effectively in regulated or highly controlled environments.

- Experience within financial institutions, public sector organizations, or other regulated environments.
- Previous involvement in ERP selection projects and system integrator procurement exercises.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, process modelling frameworks, and requirements management techniques.
